NGN, launched by Point Park’s Center for Media Innovation in the fall of 2024, aims to fulfill the need for high-quality enterprise reporting for people who want to stay informed about the place they call home. The focus of NGN’s work is government and enterprise reporting in Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Annabelle Chipps, a recent graduate of Slippery Rock University, will divide her 10-week internship between the Butler Eagle and New Castle News. Lourdes Daughtry, who just completed her freshman year at Temple University, will intern with the Northside Chronicle and West Hills Gazette. Ember Duke, a recent Duquesne University grad, will spend her internship with PublicSource.

Riley Dunn, a University of Iowa student, will complete her internship with the Pittsburgh Business Times. Josh Imhof, who attends Duquesne, will spend his 10 weeks with the Indiana Gazette. To be considered for a future PMP summer internship, candidates should be at least 18 and enrolled at a college-level institution. Recent graduates also are eligible to apply.
