After over a decade, Saks Fifth Avenue is returning to Pittsburgh — with a new, customized twist.
The Fifth Avenue Club experience, a partnership between Saks Fifth Avenue and the Fairmont Pittsburgh, is an appointment-only, personalized styling service. The original Saks Fifth Avenue was a Downtown staple for over 60 years, but closed in 2012.
The Fifth Avenue Club pairs clients with professional stylists to design a tailored wardrobe. Clients have the option to choose from one of three experiences: general styling appointments, special occasion sessions and full wardrobe consultations.
The final wardrobes can include everything from high-end clothing and accessories to luxury shoes and jewelry. While there is no fixed price for the experience, each appointment includes a consultation with a personal stylist.
The club sits on the Fairmont’s 14th floor and overlooks Market Square. The space consists of two large rooms that are filled with custom clothes before every appointment. The experience begins when a stylist meets their client in the hotel lobby to escort them to the newly transformed area.
