Pets in the Pittsburgh area can now be pampered from the comfort and familiarity of their own homes through the Furry Land Mobile Grooming service.
Founded in Las Vegas in 2017, Furry Land has grown quickly across the country and now boasts more than 70 locations, including the one in Pittsburgh.
Owned and operated by Pete Rosato and Megan Ellis, Pittsburgh’s Furry Land will offer services such as full body haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and spa treatments. In addition, there will also be add-on services like blueberry facials, deshedding treatments and nail painting.
Both dog grooming and cat grooming services are available, with the goal of helping pets live happy and healthy lives.
“We decided to pursue ownership in the pet care space with Furry Land because of our desire to build something that can genuinely make life easier – and better – for our community,” Rosato said in a statement. “Furry Land is truly a pet-first experience, bringing stress-free, expert grooming right to our neighbors’ doorsteps. We’re excited to serve the Pittsburgh community, meet its wonderful pets, and provide them with individually tailored grooming services that keep our companions looking and feeling their best. We look forward to building relationships with pet owners and their furry friends for years to come.”
Both Rosato and Ellis were looking to get involved with a business that aligns with their personal passions. For them — Furry Land was that business. Both believe that Furry Land stands out from other grooming services because of its “stress free environment” and the time it saves for local families who no longer have to travel to receive care for their pets.
As Furry Land grows, Rosato and Ellis plan to continue building a team of experienced and passionate pet-loving groomers, as well as expand services throughout more of the Pittsburgh region.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Pete and Megan as the newest members of our growing Furry Land Mobile Grooming family,” Greg Longe, CEO of Furry Land said in a statement. “As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust that your furry friends are in safe, caring hands. What sets Furry Land apart is our cage-free, personalized grooming experience—no stressful cages, no drip drying-—just one-on-one attention in our state-of-the-art, climate-controlled mobile salons. We’re proud to partner with entrepreneurial, community-minded pet lovers like Pete and Megan, who share our dedication to providing pets with premium care.”
As it continues to grow, Furry Land hopes to provide pet owners with more peace-of-mind while creating a comforting environment for their pets.
