Catalyst MedTech launches new Propel Partner Program

On June 17, Catalyst MedTech, based on the South Side, officially announced the launch and continued expansion of its new Propel Partner Program. Through this initiative, Catalyst seeks to drive health care transformation across the country, specifically in the fields of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging.

The program has been designed to provide original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) with customizable support and service packages that deliver the infrastructure needed for operational success across the country.

“This program puts our collaboration value into motion,” Martin Shirley, president and CEO of Catalyst MedTech said in a release. “Propel is for innovative technology developers that want instant operational infrastructure — they want a partner who understands their vision and has the infrastructure to help them achieve it. We’re not here to do what’s always been done — we’re here to help the industry move forward, partner by partner.”

The partnership is meant to be more than a service contract and seeks to offer support through services such as customer service dispatches, field service, system installation, clinical applications training, warehousing and parts logistics.

Partners will also have access to Catalyst’s proprietary operations and inventory platform.

Some organizations are already enrolled as partners, such as Epica International, which recently became the third official member of the program.

“It has truly been an exceptional experience working with Catalyst’s team,” Omar Oliveros, U.S. director of service and support at Epica International, said in a statement. “The quality of service and professionalism demonstrated throughout the process have been outstanding. We’re confident this is just the beginning of a strong and mutually beneficial partnership — one that will positively shape the customer experience moving forward.”

Epica works in medical imaging for both human and animal health care and in industrial enterprises.

With the partnership, Epica said that it will increase its ability to support its over-400 domestic installations, as well as scale service deliveries to align with future growth.

“We’re proud to welcome Epica to the Propel Partner community,” Shirley said. “They’re doing important work to push the boundaries of CT imaging, and our role is to help ensure their systems are supported with the same standard of excellence their technology delivers.”

According to Catalyst, the Propel Partner Program is open to OEMs in any stage of growth, ranging from the early stages of innovation to well established manufacturers. Throughout the rest of this year, Catalyst plans to announce more partners as they are added to the program.

Catalyst MedTech is formerly known as TTG Imaging Solutions. The company rebranded earlier this year. Catalyst MedTech is listed as a portfolio company of New York-based Sentinel Capital Partners, which bought it before it rebranded.
